SAF Oleaginosas

Nesta parcela, com aprox. 3000m2, estamos iniciando o plantio de Pinhao Manso. A idéia é experimentar alguns consórcios com esta planta, visando a produção de oleo combustivel e alimentos. O pinhão foi plantado no espaçamento 4x3, e no meio da entrelinha duas carreiras de milho com feijao ao lado, alternadas na outra entrelinha com abobora, mandioca, mamona e abacaxi.
O proximo passo é entrar com as árvores, de preferencia tambem oleaginosas, mas tambem frutiferas e outras. A sucessão deste sistema será portanto de culturas agrícolas, pinhão manso e futuramente as árvores. É importante observar que o pinhão não tolera sombreamento e produz frutos por um período curto (10 anos), portanto neste sistema pensamos na produção temporária do pinhão, que será substituído pelas árvores.














In this plot, with approx. 3000m2, we are starting the planting of “Pinhao Manso” (Jatropha curcas). The idea is to try some combinations with this plant, targeting the production of oil and food. The “pinhao manso” was planted in the 4x3 spacing, and in the midst of between two rows of maize with beans on the side, alternating between the other with pumpkin, manioc, mamona and pineapple. The next step is to enter the trees, preference also oil producer, but also fruit and others. The succession of this system is therefore of agricultural crops, pinhao manso and in the future oil-trees. It is important to note that the pinhao not tolerate shade and produces fruit for a short period (10 years), so that it will be replaced by other trees.
